「日本で最初のIoT製品は何だったか知っていますか?」
これは先日の従業員によるスピーチイベントのひとこま。

IoT(モノのインターネット化)は実は何年も前から始まっており、私たちの生活にとても身近なものとなっていることを従業員の1人が、具体例を用いて紹介しました。

社会が急激に変化する中、ボッシュもボッシュの従業員も新しいテクノロジーや企業文化を受け入れて、そのスピードについていかなければなりません。そのことを感じてもらうため、ボッシュの従業員がスピーチを通して、社会の変化や変革の必要性を、自らの言葉と熱意で社長、副社長を含む沢山の従業員に語りかけました。

テーマは話題のIoTやインダストリー4.0、ありがちな会議を変える方法、アートと経理の共通点など多岐にわたりました。参加した従業員からも「おもしろくて内容がすっと入ってきた!」と好評でした。

また、「若手が頑張ってプレゼンテーションしている姿に、元気をもらえた!」という声も。今回スピーチをした4人は全員が20代30代なのです。
年齢や性別に関係なく、自分の意見を言うことができる雰囲気があるボッシュ。ボッシュはこれからも、変化を促進し、社会に貢献するイノベーションを生み出していきます!

"Do you know what the first IoT product in Japan was?"
This was one of the questions asked during a speech event recently conducted for and by associates at Bosch Japan.

Not known to many, but IoT (Internet of Things) is already becoming a part of everybody's lives as one of the speakers explains using a specific example.

At the moment Bosch is being placed in the midst of rapid change. In order to keep up with the ongoing transition, not only the company, but all its associates will have to face and embrace the challenge of emerging new technologies and corporate culture. For this matter, the event was created as an instance to provide assistance for everyone listening, offering hints on how to embrace change through the passionate and inspiring speeches of Bosch associates.

Topics were the much-discussed IoT and Industry 4.0, as well as proposals for new meeting styles or the unexpected connection between art and accounting. The speeches were well received and comments like "It was interesting and easy to understand!" or "I felt motivated seeing the young associates trying their best in front of so many people" reached our ears.
This time all the speakers were in their 20s and 30s and represented a Bosch that grants a platform to anyone who has something he or she wants to say, regardless of age, position or gender.

Bosch will continue to answer to changes and to provide innovations to contribute to society!
