8月23日の午後、café 1886 at Boschにフレッシュな顔ぶれが揃いました。以前の記事（goo.gl/UoVRZo）でご紹介した、女子中高生向けキャリアイベント「リケジョのリアルトーク x ものづくりワークショップ」 です。

第一部はリケジョのリアルトーク。
現役の理系女子大学生が、理系に興味を持ったきっかけや、リアルな大学生活、さらには理系でよかったこと・大変なこと等についてざっくばらんにお話ししました。また、ボッシュの理系出身従業員も「理系に進むと、将来のお仕事の選択肢も広がるよ」とコメントし、「実際に働いている人から聞くと説得力がある！」といった声があがっていました。

第二部では、カフェの美味しいコーヒーとクッキーをつまみながら、それぞれが抱えている悩みや疑問について、各テーブルで自由にお話しいただきました。「夢がなくて･･･」と話す中学生に、「私もそうだった。でも、こんな風に進路を決めていったよ。」と話す先輩リケジョを、真剣なまなざしで見つめる参加学生の様子がとても印象的でした。

第三部のものづくりワークショップは大盛り上がり！
ものづくり業界について触れた後、ボッシュの電動工具部門の従業員が、ボッシュの製品を紹介すると、参加者だけでなく保護者の方からも歓声があがっていました。その後は、かわいい材料に目移りしながら、全員がとてもかわいいオリジナルのチャームを作成しました。

参加いただいた皆さんにとって、進路やキャリアを考える上で有意義な時間になったのであれば嬉しいです。

引き続き、ボッシュは様々な年代を対象に、キャリアを考えるサポートをするイベントを積極的に実施していく予定です。

Career Event for Female Junior and Senior High School Students
"Girls' Science Talk x Manufacturing Workshop"

For a fresh start on August 23, café 1886 at Bosch welcomed a number of lovely students to this exciting event (goo.gl/UoVRZo).

Part 1: An Introduction to Rikejo
Female college students with a background in sciences and engineering talked about their interest in the field, career opportunities, the daily reality of college life, and more. A female Bosch associates with a science/engineering background said that she particularly valued the chance "to contribute to science as well as to spread the word on prospective career options." Attendees were inspired to hear these words especially from people who are actually working in the field today!

For part 2, attendees had the chance to freely and sincerely discuss their concerns and questions with tutors while being treated to some delicious coffee and cookies. "I don't know what I want to do in life…" "It was the same for me. But then I decided to pursue the path of science." Hearing this from the senior Rikejo left a deep impression on the participating students.

For the grand finale, it was time for the students to become active at the hand craft workshop using Bosch power tools! Following a brief introduction to "monozukuri," associates of the Bosch Powertools division presented some of our Bosch products, which proved to be great fun for both participants and attending parents. Afterwards, students got to create their very own charms from various materials to attach to their bags.

To all the female students who participated, we are glad if we were able to give you some guidance in figuring out the path you want to choose for your own life.
