ところで、この担当者がドイツからツイートしていた、ボッシュ本社の社員食堂で出されたある日のメニュー。ドイツ料理のおいしさが満載なので、こちらでもご紹介します。

まず一つ目は、ドイツらしい肉料理！
牛肉のステーキに玉ねぎのソース（ツビーベルロストブラーテン）は、シュトゥットガルトのあるシュヴァーベン地方のスペシャルメニュー！それに、焼いたじゃがいもの薄切り（ブラートカトッフェル）の付け合わせがついています。

そして、もうひとつは、魚料理です。
白身の淡水魚のフィレを蒸し焼きにしたものに、マッシュポテト（カトッフェルピュレー）に砕いたグリーンピースを混ぜ込んだものと、チーズを載せた焼きトマト。
このメニューが出たのは、金曜日。金曜には肉は食べず、その代わりに魚を食べるというキリスト教の風習があり、一部のキリスト教徒は厳格にこれを守っています。ですので、ドイツの社員食堂や学生食堂では、金曜日には必ずといっていいほど、魚料理が出ます。

She tweeted some photos of meals at the canteen at Bosch which were typically German.
One was a meat dish: beef steak with sauteed onion sauce (Zwiebelrostbraten) which is one of the most delicious Swabian specialities and roasted potato (Bratkartoffeln).
The other one was a fish dish: Steamed fillet of fresh water fish, mashed potato with crushed green peas and roasted tomato with cheese on it.
In Germany, you find fish dishes at canteens on every Fridays since there are people who do not eat meat on Fridays which belongs to a Christian tradition.
