Tokyo – Bosch Corporation, the Japanese subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, a leading global supplier of technology and services, will relocate its headquarters office, currently located in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, to the new building currently under construction in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama, following its completion. The company will begin operations at the new headquarters office from May 27, 2024. The Tsuzuki Ward Cultural Center (official nickname: Bosch Hall) currently being constructed on the same premises is to be completed in September 2024.

The new headquarters office will bring together approximately 2,000 associates of Bosch Group currently stationed at divisions and group companies scattered in the Tokyo-Yokohama area. The new headquarters office is equipped with R&D functions and is located about two kilometers from the existing R&D facility. The two R&D facilities, the current and the new one in Tsuzuki Ward, will house more than 40 percent of the Bosch Group's workforce. By consolidating its sites, Bosch will further strengthen the development structure in Japan by increasing collaboration and cooperation between the divisions and group companies, enabling the company to respond even more quickly to the increasing diverse needs of its Japanese customers.

The first floor of the new headquarters office is also planned to include "café 1886 at Bosch" open to customers from the general public, as well as conference and meeting rooms that can be rented out for a fee, which will begin operations in due course.
