Identity Xtended is the next generation of the Bosch perfectly keyless product. In addition to the core functions of perfectly keyless, i.e. passive vehicle access and start controlled by a digital key on a cell phone, thanks to the new ultra-wideband (UWB) radio technology, new exciting functions are possible (safer remote parking or allowing parcel deliveries in the trunk of the vehicle).

Besides the various safety-related applications, the solution also provides a range of innovative interaction options, like gesture control for distraction-free operation of the infotainment system.

State-of-the-art E/E architecture is the heart of communication in the vehicle. With the continuous growth in electrification, new automated driving functions, and connectivity, the complexity of the vehicle’s electrical and electronic systems is increasing dramatically. New software solutions, powerful vehicle computers and integration platforms help to manage the increasing complexity and connectivity.

With automated valet parking, Bosch offers the world’s first fully automated system (SAE Level 4^*) that takes the hassle out of searching for a parking spot and handles the actual task of driving and parking the car in the parking garage.
