Identity Xtended

Identity Xtended is the next generation of the Bosch perfectly keyless product. In addition to the core functions of perfectly keyless, i.e. passive vehicle access and start controlled by a digital key on a cell phone, thanks to the new ultra-wideband (UWB) radio technology, new exciting functions are possible (safer remote parking or allowing parcel deliveries in the trunk of the vehicle).

Interior monitoring enhances safety, comfort, and convenience for all vehicle occupants.
The system is able to detect driver distraction, signs of drowsiness, and even whether a child has been left behind in the vehicle, and it alerts the driver to critical situations. Safety systems, such as the seat belt alert function, are further enhanced using information acquired from the vehicle interior. Besides the various safety-related applications, the solution also provides a range of innovative interaction options, like gesture control for distraction-free operation of the infotainment system.

In addition, automated valet parking opens up a range of potential service offerings going far beyond parking alone like automated charging as well as the usage of the automated technology to optimize the workflows in the plant as well as at the depot.
*SAE Level 4: The vehicle can autonomously handle all traffic situations under certain conditions. No driver is required.
