ぐっと寒くなってきましたね。そんな中、ちょっと心温まるイベントのご報告です。
12月4日、聖ニコラウス（ドイツのサンタクロース）に扮した前社長のヘミング率いるサンタチームは、今年もボッシュ・ジャパンが震災以降継続的に支援をしている東松島市の3か所の保育所を訪れました。
このイベントでは、毎年12月6日に聖ニコラウスが1年間良い子にしていた子供たちに贈り物を渡すという欧州伝統の行事「聖ニコラウスの日」にちなみ、ボッシュ・ジャパン社長のヘミングが保育所を訪れ、児童にクリスマスプレゼントを贈呈してきました。ヘミングは今年の3月に退任した後も、5年目を迎えるこのイベントのため来日し、聖ニコラウス役をつとめました。

「サンタさーん」と大声で呼ぶ子供たちの前に、ユーモラスに登場するヘミング・サンタと召使さん、天使ちゃん。
子供たちからサンタさんへの質問コーナーでは、たくさんの手が挙がり、色々な質問が飛び出しました。
「どんな風にプレゼントを準備しているんですか」「仲間の助けを借りて、みんなで作業するんだよ」
「サンタさんの仲良しのお友達は誰ですか」「一緒にいる召使さんと天使ちゃんの二人だよ」
「何の飲み物が好きですか」「ビール！」
「ドイツではいつもは何をしているんですか」「ビジネスをしているんだ」等々。
その後は、みんなで一緒にジングルベルを歌いました。
今年もサンタさんが子供たちにひとつひとつプレゼントを手渡し、ハイタッチをしました。子供たちは大事そうにプレゼントを抱きしめたり、「ママに見せるんだ」ととってもうれしそう。
最後に子供たちからのお礼の気持ちをと、歌やお遊戯を披露してくれたり、首に掛ける手作りの飾り物をいただいたりしました。
お別れの際も、名残惜しそうに皆サンタさんや召使さんや天使ちゃんを取り囲んでいました。

また、保育所の訪問に先立ち、阿部東松島市長とヘミングとの面会が行われ、阿部市長よりヘミングへ、これまで5年間の支援に対する感謝状が贈呈されました。

お世話になった、東松島市の皆さま、市役所および保育所の先生方、どうもありがとうございました！

Visit in Higashi-matsushima – happy to see your smiling faces this year again!
Hello, this is social contribution activity office. Here's a report of a small heartwarming event in this cold season.
Bosch Japan conducted the fifth company's annual charity event "Saint Nikolaus (German Santa Claus) is coming to town!" in Higashi-matsushima, on 4th December 2015 as part of the company's ongoing relief activities in the city since the Eastern Japan Earthquake.
Bosch has been hosting "St. Nikolaus Day" event – a festival involving Saint Nikolaus bringing gifts to children who have been good all year traditionally celebrated on 6 December in Europe - since 2011 for children at three day-care centers in the city occupying container housing units donated by Bosch Japan. Every year, we are looking forward to seeing the children's smiles recovering from the disaster.
Former President of Bosch Japan, Mr. Hemming, dressed up as St. Nikolaus and his 2 associates dressed as a servant and an angel visited day-care centers there to hand out German wooden toys and cards to children.
After the children called "Santa-san!!!", they jumped in front of the children. Everybody sang the "Jingle Bells" song together.
St.Nikolaus handed over every presents to the children and they were all happy saying "I will show it off to my Mom!!"
The children gave us presents of a song and paper leis made by the children.

Prior to the visit of the day-care centers, Hemming also visited Mr. Hideo Abe, the mayor of Higashi-matsushima. Mr. Abe handed an official letter of appreciation to Hemming.

We are grateful for all supports from the Higashi-matsushima town hall and teachers of the day care centers.
